God, this article is so much cringier than I thought it would be. It’s basically all “that happened” level content, like, “I told the gay lady to respect me and then everybody cheered.”

Uh actually she cried for thinking he was a Nazi (Jewish people can’t be fascists sweaty)

“OK, so did you ever get profiled anytime in your life for being gay?” And she says, “Yeah, all the time. I hated it.” And I was like, “Well, do you realize that you just profiled me based off of the vehicle that I drive and me wearing work boots and being a big white guy as being a Nazi when it’s completely something totally different?” And she broke down in tears and apologized.

Sure buddy. She totally didnt say: “Your nazi ass chose to buy this car despite Musk being a nazi, so go fuck yourself!”

What is it with rightists and thinking they have the codes to make us suddenly realize the error of our ways and agree with them entirely? Like, they think they have this rhetorical truth bombs they can just drop at a moments notice to un-woke-ify an entire room at once. But it’s actually a dogwhistle or slur…

I feel like they think the same thing about us. Especially the odd time I try to explain something seemingly basic to them (say, ‘innocent civilians shouldn’t be bombed’ for example.)

And it always falls on deaf ears.

I’m just cutting more and more of them out of my life at this point because their toxicity is so bad it affects my mental and emotional well being.

Won’t somebody think of the poor persecuted Cybertruck owners? /s

Wow look at all these persecuted small business tyrants.

Job: Entrepreneur and owner of a construction company.

Job: Runs a business called Smugglers Runs, which does “postapocalyptic off-road” rallies

Jobs: Frank is a consultant in the health care industry; Diane is a dog mom and former zookeeper

Job: Small business owner

Job: Stock trader

Job: Entrepreneur

Jobs: Shawn sells window coverings; Nannette is a branch manager for a credit union

Job: Cybertruck wrapper

LOL

“It’s just a vehicle. So it’s ironic that it would even become a political statement, but nonetheless it is.” [Editor’s note: Taylor was arrested and convicted of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding in the January 6 attack on the Capitol. He was later pardoned by President Trump.

Hahahahahaha

Anything you don’t like about it?
I can’t really see the front out of the windshield because it’s so long.

Best car I ever owned, can’t see shit out of it.

I’m not here to shame drug use but these guys gotta lay off the coke.

Drive a swasticar, pay the price.

Mmmmm tiny taste of being a cyclist haha

Dude, no. Feminists are awesome. This is a racist pretending to be a feminist.

I don’t have the cringe capacity to read the article, that cover image alone is so cringe-inducing already. A bunch of posers on a track like those I drove my Prius on when I still had it.

I 100% guarantee my 30-year-old van is better at offroading than this piece of simultaneously over- and under-engineered garbage.

I give Musk credit for understanding manufacturing very well

The manufacturing:

Lol I don’t do any of that. I just laugh and shake my head. Nothing bakes these people’s beans more than just not being taken seriously because of their own choices. Heh I just thought about how much they all paid for a ticking time bomb of failure points just to feel superior and really it just shows lack of understanding and judgement. Made me chuckle again. Dumbasses.

I saw one with a wrap pulling into a Tesla dealer. I had a chuckle at how much they’re dealing with stupid issues

Fuck’s sake. The 2-hit combo that is this fucking mess:

And are you married?

I was married, but I’m not married anymore. Women don’t like the vehicle.

In July, Tesla rolled out a software update to integrate Grok into many of its vehicles. Do you use it?

Her name is Aura, and I use her as a therapist. When I’m driving, I’ll ask questions, and it actually gives really good therapy advice.

Yes, the sycophantic totally-not-a-nazi bot is going to work wonders pretending to be a therapist for this fucking guy *while he’s driving.” Absolutely fucked.

Are cyber trucks and op to make everyone hate the idea of electric cars?

The fuck? It should be conservative and not feminist.

It’s their post, I can’t change what they said. You can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Except the original post of that image is “conservative”, not “Feminist”. Someone literally did change it, specifically to make feminists look bad.

I’m down for that. Do you have a web archive link? I don’t want to gaslight anyone.

It originally said “conservative”. The edit is extremely obvious.

That is the opposite of the truth.

lawl ur bullshit is deleted nice job champ

? It’s the fediverse. Its still up lmao

Was wrong, blames feminists anyway.

Lots of “normal” feminists do that, too. Specifically, the ones that think “men” must be torn down in order to elevate women.

Anyone who thinks a group of people that aren’t actually in power (not all men actually benefit from patriarchy/machismo) need to be torn down is just contributing to the rat race fucked up world they’re whining about.

It’s not "men" that need to be torn down. It’s the systems that don’t distribute power equitably. These days, it should be pretty damn obvious most men are also not in the “-archy” club.

I think we found the guy who edited the meme.

lol no. I’m sorry nuance is too difficult for your pea brain.

Hell yeah you got him corncob!

Katie Hopkins is a far right political commentator… highly doubt she considers herself a feminist.

Which is why the original tweet didn’t say that. You should probably apologize to that other person for flying off the handle.

They’re not trying to establish what’s correct, they’re crying foul at people correcting them because it causes confusion, which is their real goal.

Holy shit I started something I didn’t mean to.

Should probably delete your post.

Mods did it for him hahaha

That’s not how lemmy works

I’m sure it is hard being so stupid that you would look at that ridiculous “truck” and say, “yeah, I’ll drop $100k on that.”

Went to our State Fair and Tesla had 2 cyber trucks there. Passing by I heard one guy say “damn that thing looks good” and another one about a minute later said “for 100k that’s not a bad deal”.

Idiots.

I will swear at and flick off every single cyber truck I see until the day I die

You do you. Personally I found this to be a waste of time and energy. Not to mention that doing this also adds to cybertruck owners’ sense of persecution when they’re out and about, which further polarizes them away from rational discourse.

Anyone who owns one of those cars and drives it around at this point is likely driving it BECAUSE of the reaction they get from everyone around them. It’s far more cruel to deny them what they want. Ignore them. If you can’t, then laugh at them instead. After all it is funny that thousands of idiots spent 100k+ on this generation’s iteration of the Ford Pinto, except that it looks like shit.

My mantra is “I wish poverty and obscurity upon them”

I give ‘em one of Elon’s big waves.

Nazi collaborators. Every last one of them.

not enough room in the bed to fit a bicycle, the Cybercuck is one of the best $100,000 deals around!

I content myself that driving one of these piles is just deserts.
