There is !thebutton@lemmy.zip
Maybe there will be !canvas@toast.ooo this year?
And just before you posted there was post about FediForum but I’m not sure if you want to count that one
I felt like canvas did not happen last year but turns out it did and my sense of time is just poopoo.
FediForum? Starts TOMORROW. The Fediverse’s premier online unconference. You get to talk on any topic you want, meet all kinds of new and unique people, find out about all of the incredible work going into the Fediverse.

Also there are multiple conferences.
It’s not as formally organized as these other events, but for the last 3 years I’ve held a 2 week long Owl of the Year bracket tournament on !superbowl@lemmy.world around the end of November. Each round everyone votes on their favorite of that pairing, and the winner advances.
At the end, I donate a legacy tile to the animal clinic I work at to fund owl rescue, and it’s got the name of the overall winner and the name of the community.
It always helps get the subscriber count a boost, and I get a better idea of what content people want to see for the coming year. It also lets me highlight a bunch of owls a lot of people have never heard of, and hopefully gets them to take concern for their preservation.
