This is really nice. I would like to see more bluesky integration into fediverse platforms, they should really be part of the same network.

@robert.meyer86 We tried dipping a toe into that same sentiment with fed.brid.gy but a vocal group of people from both the atproto and the fediverse side of things made all the gateways opt-in and not opt-out.

Someday I feel there'll be a merged protocol at some point featuring the best of both platforms. 🤞🏾

I am working on one myself. I have bluesky and mastodon running in the same client, as well as facebook/instagram archive imports. I’m trying to give it an indie web vibe, with lots of profile/theme customizations, and have formatted the UI as a web browser so it has a lot of flexibility and utility overall. I think we need to go way beyond just bridges, personally, and build something with native interoperability and rich feature sets so users can actually use the fediverse to the fullest. I can send and invite to the repo I have if you’re interested in checking it out.

I'm interested. If only just to study how the pieces are put together.

I'd like to see native fedi, atproto, and webmention/microsub/micropub in one place including having the ability to use the different clients to follow and publish as well.

Gimme a couple days to polish up some jank I’m working through, but the base functionality is definitely there.
